Data loggers
The loggers for monitoring temperature and humidity have arrived.
These will be placed around the houses and the data downloaded every

every circuit
We'll be monitoring the energy use very closely. Here you can see an electricity meter for each of the circuits in the house, allowing us to examine all the different energy burdens on the house.

Looking up to the balcony in the sun space of 91 London Road. The
orientation on this site is far from perfect, but the morning sun
striking the existing fabric should provide some thermal storage.

sunwarm panels
The Nuaire Sunwarm panels are in place on 63 Booth Street. These are an
air to air thermal panel that help heat the water cylinder and provides
warm air to the ventilation system. On a summer night it can also
provide cooling. For our terraces we're exploring the benefits of
plumbing it into the glazed sun spaces, thereby improving the
efficiency.

sun space
The timber frame for the south-west facing sun space on Booth Street is
in place. This morning we were discussing the drainage detail at the
lowest corner. The shape of this space is partly informed by the
orientation needs and partly by fire separation requirements at the
boundary. The ground floor contains the main living space, with the
master bedroom above. A two storey void between allows us to move warm
air around the building.
